What is WorldQuest?
WorldQuest, an international knowledge competition invented by the World Affairs Council of Charlotte and has become a signature event for many World Affairs Councils around the country. Teams from local businesses, schools and alumni associations compete. Category questions include international current events, geography, history and more. A light buffet dinner with dessert and coffee is also provided.
Who Can Play?
Each team of 8 players is formed by businesses, schools, organizations, or other self-determined groups. Individuals without a group will be assigned to a team by the Council.
How is WorldQuest Played?
This fast-paced game is played in 7 rounds of 10 questions each with 30-seconds for each question. Each team collaborates on the answers and submits them at the end of each round.
What Do You Win?
Medals and trophies will be awarded for the teams in 1st, 2nd and
3rd place. Additionally, there will be a raffle drawing during the competition for various donated prizes such as gift certificates and other special items.
How Should My Team Prepare?
